    The flowers were great. Arrived as shown. Delivery person friendly. Change in delivery date well managed. The only thing I didn't like was that I felt pressured to upgrade the order at the website. The base cost is pretty expensive, although probably competitive. So upgrading requests seem awkward. Imagine going to a restaurant and ordering a steak at a moderately high price. Then noticing that if you pay even more, they give you "fresh" meat? See how off putting that is? ---- Florist's Response: We're sorry you felt pressured to upgrade your order. In fact, we offer upgrades so our customers may add more flowers, larger containers, and even a favorite type of flower to the arrangement pictured. All our flowers are "fresh."     Quite a beautiful arrangement. It was perfect for the funeral and a fine addition at the cemetery where it was displayed during the burial of our dear friend.

    I wanted to find the perfect bouquet for my sister's 65th birthday. Iris are her favorite flowers. I hadn't ordered from LaVassar Florists in some time, as I moved away from Seattle - but that's where my sister lives. I was about to call them to ask about an arrangement with iris when I saw "Blooms in Blue" on the website. No need to call, as this bouquet could have been designed with my sister in mind! She said it was a "truly exceptional combination of flowers" and "really one of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen." Ordering process was easy, and it was delivered per instructions. Top notch!
